In what areas are you seeking franchises at this time?

Currently, we are concentrating on markets near our Charleston, SC base including Columbia and Savannah. Initially limiting our franchises to nearby markets allows us to concentrate on making these locations successful. As we firmly establish more franchises in these areas, we will gradually expand our efforts to nearby states.

Provata can help you in many different ways by providing you the following: A proven concept, a well established efficient menu and recipes, fully developed systems, experience, professional assistance, streamlined operating systems, customer service programs that work to build relationships, cost-effective marketing programs, comprehensive initial training, and on-going training and support. In short, we have perfected our concept and systems and can save you considerable risk, money, and time.

What type of training will I receive?

We believe in providing Provata franchise owners, key people, and team members a comprehensive initial training program that will familiarize you with all aspects of operating your location. We furnish this start-up training in order to give you a competitive edge to help ensure your success and to maintain quality and consistency chain-wide.

This initial training program includes

  • A one day orientation session for all Franchise owners in Charleston.
  • Up to four weeks of pre-opening training for your head chef, sous chef, and front-of-house manager at your location.
  • Up to one week of pre-opening training for your two head servers and all additional team members at your location
  • Up to fifteen days of additional training for all your personnel at your location starting the day your Provata restaurant opens.
  • In addition, your two head servers will receive up to one week of training from your POS System vendor.

What are the costs involved in opening a Provata franchise?

We have included an initial investment Chart in this package that details the costs of opening a Provata franchise including the $32,000 initial franchise fee, we estimate it costs from $458,900 to $1,015.90 to open a Provata franchise. These figures include a $15,000 to $30,000 of working capital. You may be able to arrange financing for a significant portion of this initial investment. Sources of financing are local banking institutions, the SBA, and equipment financing companies. Estimated costs could be considerably lower if the proposed Provata site was formerly a restaurant with an exhaust hood, grease trap, bathrooms, etc. in place and meets Provata restaurant requirements.

I like what I hear so far. What do I do next?

Simply call the Provata home office at (843) 793-8861 and request a Preliminary Application. Once you return the Preliminary Application to our office. We will review your qualifications and contact you. During this telephone call, we will answer any questions you may have. Assuming both parties are still interested in pursuing a relationship, we will schedule a mutually convenient time to meet in or near Charleston, SC. At this meeting, we will give you the required legal disclosure documents and discuss the Provata franchise opportunity and your goals in more detail.
